Oakham Castle Hire
Provisional Booking form
Oakham Castle Grounds and the Great Hall are available to hire for your event!
Please read the Site information and T&Cs. and discuss with our Operations Manager, Linda Healey on 0792 078 2157 your set-up requirements and the use of any external equipment before booking.
Please remember to include all items such as cake table, photo booths, sweet trolleys etc. If you are providing alcohol or live music you will need to apply for a T.E.N. licence.
The following equipment is available to use:
16 folding tables (6-foot), 4 folding tables (4-foot), 120 stacking chairs, urn, domestic size fridge, microwave, kettle, hot water urn, commercial dishwasher (being installed), PA system. 70 cups & saucers, 20 wine glasses, plastic flute glasses.

Prices inclusive of V.A.T. No corkage charge, no other hidden charges.
Great Hall Hourly rates
Weekdays - £70
Saturdays - £80
Sundays - £110
Grounds only, day rate: £220
Private events are not normally possible during our public opening hours
(10am to 4pm Mon - Sat, 12noon to 4pm Sun)
Events must normally conclude by 11pm
Any later bookings must be pre-arranged
Once your event is confirmed, your deposit of £100 and full payment can be made online https://www.rutland.gov.uk/pay-report-and-apply-online/online-payments/, under Accts Receivable (Invoices), or by card via customer services 01572 722577.
Cash or cheque (payable to Rutland County Council) payments are available through customer services Catmose House, Catmose Street, Oakham LE15 6HP.
When paying, please use your name and booking date as a reference.
Please email your deposit payment receipt number to firstname.lastname@example.org for your booking confirmation.
The balance will be invoiced approximately four weeks before the hire.
Your information will be used so that we can manage your booking at the Castle and the data will be kept for one year according to the legislation.
