A sculpture depicting a centaur. A mythical beast, part man and part horse. Originally it would have been holding a bow and arrow. He is performing what is often referred to as a Parthian shot where the archer shoots backwards as they ride away from the enemy.
Oakham Castle is a beautiful wedding venue just as it is, but you can always add more flowers if you like for your perfect Rutland wedding.
We are an all year round wedding venue and can accommodate up to 120 guests for your ceremony. We can also offer receptions for up to 90 guests.
