The Great Hall of Oakham Castle is open:
Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday
10am - 4pm (last entry 3.45pm)

Wednesday 24 December open 10am-4pm
Thursday 25 December closed
Friday 26 December closed
Saturday 27 December open 10am-11.30am and 2.30pm-4pm (closed 11.30am-2.30pm for a private event)
Monday 29 December open 10am-4pm
Wednesday 31 December open 10am-1pm
Thursday 1 January closed
Oakham Castle grounds and the Great Hall are FREE to visit. We do however appreciate your donations, all of which go to the Friends of Rutland County Museum and Oakham Castle.
No booking is required, please see our accessibility guide for everything you need to know before you visit.

The Council operates and maintains the Castle grounds as a free public park.
Please obtain a parking pass from reception or café that enables 2 hours free parking on the day of your visit.
