The Great Hall of

Oakham Castle is open

Monday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday

10am - 4pm (last entry 3.45pm)

There will be no parking available from 12 noon on Thursday 16 July because of a wedding

There will be no parking available on Saturday 18 July and Saturday 25 July because of a wedding and reception

Oakham Castle grounds and the Great Hall are FREE to visit. We do however appreciate your donations, all of which go to the Friends of Rutland County Museum and Oakham Castle.

No booking is required, please see our accessibility guide for everything you need to know before you visit.

The Council operates and maintains the Castle grounds as a free public park.

Please obtain a parking pass from reception or café that enables 2 hours free parking on the day of your visit.
